Our macerations for Prestige Vintage are done in whole harvest, in order to preserve the authenticity of the wines, the terroir, as well as the aromas.
We have quite intentionally reduced the SO2 content of our wines in order to respect theist integrity and to avoid dry flavours (and headaches) that are so often to be found in other wines.
Wine making traditional is made with “unballasting and daily reassemblies out” of cement tank of 50, 60, 100, 120 hectolitres.
Eighteen to twenty five days are necessary for soaking.
Temperatures of fermentation : from 25 to 30° C.
Wine maturation lasts 18 months on fine dregs
Soil and subsoil are mainly made up of blue clay.
Wine yield : from 20 to 38 Hls per hectare.
Grape variety : Black and white Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier
Vines ages : 0 to 80 years.
Consumption between 5 and 20 years.

The “Côtes du Rhône” and the “Vin de Pays”
Are produced on stony calcareous sandstone. They are generous well-structured and aromatic wines for their classification, and can be laid down for a short time with no problem.
We recommend that you should always decant red wines before a meal in order to benefit from their full flavour.

Both the “Rouges de garde” red wines for laying down the “Vieilles Vignes Visan”
Are grown on the warmest “terroir” and the best yielding clay and stony soil.
They are full bodied, rich and well-structured wines with a powerful nose, in which the Grenache grape is very present.
These complex wines will develop towards spice and leather with time.
